Comedian Kunal Kamra Gets 500+ Threat Calls, Influencer Warns of Deadly Consequences

Mumbai (The Uttam Hindu): The controversy surrounding comedian Kunal Kamra's objectionable remarks about Eknath Shinde refuses to die down. Now, influencer Faizan Ansari has issued a death threat to Kamra, threatening to burn him alive. Faizan Ansari shared a video on social media in which he stated that Kunal Kamra’s actions were highly inappropriate and had caused an uproar across Maharashtra. He further added, “We will not tolerate any insult to Eknath Shinde under any circumstances.”
Ansari also claimed that since he lives in Mumbai, a city that has given him a lot, he cannot stand by while Kamra disrespects not only Eknath Shinde but also the entire state of Maharashtra, Shiv Sena, and even Balasaheb Thackeray.
Additionally, Faizan Ansari directly threatened to burn Kunal Kamra alive and demanded an apology. He also made several other objectionable remarks. According to reports, Kamra has received at least 500 threatening calls so far, with people issuing death threats and warning that he would be cut into pieces.
Earlier, the Khar Police had issued a summons to Kamra at his residence, but since he is currently not in Mumbai, the notice was handed over to his father. The police have also sent a WhatsApp summons, asking Kamra to appear before the investigating officer for questioning. Sources suggest that Kamra has requested more time to appear before the Mumbai Police.
