Chandigarh (The Uttam Hindu) : Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann campaigned for AAP candidate Ishank Chabbewal in the Chabbewal assembly constituency on Sunday. The Chief Minister praised Ishank, saying he is a young candidate who understands the local issues. "Make Ishank win, and whatever work he'll bring to me, I will sign it immediately," he stated.

Addressing the women at the gathering, the Chief Minister remarked that mothers and sisters come only to AAP rallies because they know that our government cares for their needs. He added that his next mission is to provide women with ₹1,100 every month. Mann mentioned that recently, the assembly passed a historic law allowing the recruitment of girls in the fire brigade, making Punjab the first state in the country to do so.

Attacking the Congress, Mann said they fight for power, while we fight for the better future of your children. "We have provided free electricity to the people of Punjab and are building good schools and hospitals. We purchased the Goindwal Sahib thermal plant. To reduce deaths on the roads, we established a 'Road Safety Force' and provided them with the latest vehicles. As a result, deaths have decreased by 45% in the last six months. Additionally, we have provided over 45,000 jobs to the youth in the last two and a half years."

Regarding the removal of NOC in registrations, the Chief Minister said that to resolve the problems of the people of Punjab, our government passed a law in the assembly to eliminate the NOC requirement. He accused the Congress and Akali governments of colluding with builders to create illegal colonies for profit, while asserting that his government stands with the people to solve their issues.

Mann stated that the AAP government has been able to achieve so much in Delhi and Punjab because of the clean intentions of the party and its convenor, Arvind Kejriwal. "That's why, like in Delhi, we have opened Aam Aadmi Clinics and Schools of Eminence here. We did not come into politics to make money. We want to share in the joys and sorrows of the 3.5 crore Punjabis."

Targeting the Akali Dal, Mann said those who claimed they would rule for 25 years now cannot even find four candidates. He accused them of using Gurubani and Baba Nanak for their political gain. "The Akali Dal members are calling Sukhbir Badal a jarnail, but they should explain what battles he has fought. He has only caused chaos and harmed in both Punjab and the Akali Dal. If the Akali Dal had contested without Sukhbir Badal, they would have received even more votes."

At Mahilpur Stadium, Mann mentioned that the Indian Super League wants to develop Mahilpur Stadium. "They say they will transform the stadium and train local players. We have decided that any funds received will be invested in Mahilpur."

*"Work done under Mann government is unprecedented" - Dr. Rajkumar Chabbewal*

AAP MP Dr. Rajkumar Chabbewal stated that the work done under Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann's leadership is unprecedented in Punjab's history. Free electricity was once a dream, but today everyone is receiving 300 units of electricity for free every month. Farmers are also getting canal water and uninterrupted electricity supply.

*“I feel proud to be a candidate from a party that embodies the ideals of Bhagat Singh and Ambedkar” - Ishank Chabbewal*

AAP candidate Ishank Chabbewal thanked Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, stating that the Aam Aadmi Party is dedicated to the thoughts of Bhagat Singh and Baba Saheb B. R. Ambedkar. "I feel proud to be a candidate from this party."

Thanks to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, many developments are happening in Chabbewal. Currently, projects worth over ₹70 crores are underway, and several have been completed. He appealed to the Chief Minister to make all roads around the Gurdwara 18 feet wide. There are areas facing flooding issues, where bridges should be built. Additionally, there is a great need for a Polytechnic and ITI college in this constituency, which should be established.
