Yadav demanded an immediate inquiry into the incident, calling it a result of the government's negligence in managing health facilities. He urged Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to focus on improving healthcare infrastructure instead of prioritizing election campaigns.

Yadav also criticized the state government's handling of public health, accusing it of ignoring the needs of vulnerable populations. The fire, which broke out in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), led to widespread outrage, with many questioning the safety standards in government hospitals. Yadav emphasized that the state government must take swift action to prevent such incidents in the future and ensure better healthcare for the people of Uttar Pradesh. He also expressed his condolences to the families affected by the tragedy.
