Uncertainty Surrounds Martyrdom of Jaswant Singh as Family Awaits Clarity

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Jawan Jaswant Singh from Laundi village, who went missing during an encounter with terrorists in Ambe Nala, Sufan, is now reported to be a martyr. However, his family, holding onto hope, refused to believe the news until late evening. The family members, still in disbelief, prayed for his safe return.

Locals revealed that the news of his martyrdom reached the family through social media and unofficial sources. Jaswant's father, Angrez Singh, shared the family's distress, saying, "We learned about his martyrdom through locals and social media, but when we contacted the officials, we received no clear response. At times, we're told he's missing, and other times, we're told he's been taken to Jammu."

A relative, Jabbar Singh, added that the family was still in confusion as no official confirmation had been given. Despite the lack of clarity, the family remains hopeful that Jaswant Singh will return home safely.
