Himachal Government Schools Introduce Uniform Dress Code for Teachers

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): A dress code has been implemented for teachers in government schools of Himachal Pradesh. After a long deliberation, the Sukhu government has finally implemented a dress code for teachers. Education Minister Rohit Thakur has also given a statement regarding this.

Education Minister Rohit Thakur said that the education department has issued a circular to the effect that teachers who hold a special place in our society should come to school in dignified and decent attire. Such guidelines have been issued by the education department. However, the minister clarified that the government is not strictly enforcing the dress code across the state.
