Son's Brutal Crime: Parents Killed with Drill, Father's Body Still Missing

Karnal (The Uttam Hindu): In Kamalpur Rodan village, Himmat Singh, the son accused of murdering his parents with a drill, was presented in court and subsequently sent to jail. However, his father's body, Mahindra, has still not been located.
After the arrest, the police took Himmat on a five-day remand, later extending it by another four days, in an effort to find Mahindra's body. Despite an extensive search of the canal from Gagsina to Delhi, no sign of the father’s remains has been found.
The chilling incident took place on the night of March 13, when Himmat allegedly killed his father Mahindra and mother Bala Devi using a drill. He then disposed of their bodies in the Gagsina canal by placing them in a car. While Bala Devi’s body was recovered, Mahindra’s remains are still missing. Himmat has confessed to throwing both bodies into the canal during interrogation.
Despite numerous searches and remand periods, Mahindra’s body remains unfound, leading police to believe Himmat Singh may be misleading investigators. The hunt for the missing body continues with no breakthrough yet.
