Mining Department Conducts Raids, Recovers Rs 4.22 Lakh

Chandigarh (Uttam Hindu News)- A joint team formed under the guidance of KM Pandurang, Director General of Mining Department of Haryana, caught a dumper carrying stones illegally from Rajasthan in Narnaul of Mahendragarh and the fine amount was recovered.
A spokesperson of the Mining and Geology Department said on Sunday that the team of senior officials from Panchkula headquarters in Mahendragarh district continued the raids for the third day regarding illegal mining and illegal transportation of minerals. The spokesperson said that raids were conducted at various places throughout the night and a dumper carrying stones illegally was caught which was bringing stones illegally from Rajasthan. The team of officials took action in this matter throughout the day and recovered about Rs 4.22 lakh. He has also warned all crusher operators that if they are found crushing stones illegally, strict action will be taken against them.
