Father Sentenced to 20 Years for Daughter's Rape: Full Case Details Revealed

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): The court sentenced the father who raped his own daughter to 20 years of imprisonment. A fine of Rs 50,000 has also been imposed on the culprit. In case of not paying the fine, the culprit will have to serve three more years of imprisonment. This decision was given by the fast track court on Wednesday. District Deputy Advocate Mukesh Ranga said that a woman resident of a colony in Sector-29 police station area had told in the complaint given on 14 April 2023.

The father raped his daughter, the court sentenced him to 20 years of imprisonment; know the whole case: The woman said that she works in a thread company. She basically belongs to South-West Delhi. She lives in a rented room in Panipat with her husband and 14 year old daughter. She had gone to work. When she returned in the evening, the daughter was quiet. Even after asking her a lot, the daughter did not tell anything. After a few days, the daughter started having problems, so she took her to the doctor. Then it was found out that the daughter was pregnant.

Then the daughter told that her 29-year-old father raped her. On the complaint of the woman, the police got the teenager medically examined and counseled. After this, after taking permission from the Child Welfare Department, the teenager was aborted on 31 May 2023. The police arrested the accused. Now in this case, the court of Additional Sessions Judge Sukhpreet Singh has given its verdict on Wednesday. 11 witnesses appeared during the hearing. The victim's statement was recorded.
