Faridabad horror: helpless father begged for Life, but son turned killer!

Faridabad (The Uttam Hindu): A 14-year-old boy set his father on fire while he was asleep, locking the door from outside to prevent his escape, after being scolded for not studying and stealing money. The gruesome incident took place around 2 a.m. on Monday night in Ajay Nagar Part-2, Palla police station area. The victim, Mohammad Aleem, originally from Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh, lived in a rented house with his son and sold mosquito nets and other daily essentials by hawking. His wife had passed away, and his son was a Class IX student at a government school in Moldaband, Delhi.
According to landlord Riyazuddin, Aleem had beaten his son earlier that evening for stealing money. That night, neighbors heard loud cries and banging from Aleem's room. Mohammed Ama Ullah, a neighbor, jumped from his roof onto Aleem’s and managed to unlock the door, only to find the room engulfed in flames. By the time they entered, Aleem had already succumbed to the fire, and his son had fled. The fire was so intense that the ceiling of the room collapsed.
Following the incident, the teenager went to his elder brother Abdul Ghulam in Khadda Colony and confessed to setting his father on fire. Abdul rushed to the scene with him, where police had already arrived. The police took the minor into custody. During interrogation, the teenager admitted to his actions, stating that he was driven by frustration over his father’s constant scolding and beatings.
