Veteran actress Zeenat Aman’s Near-Death Experience: Faces Breathing Difficulty, Pill Stuck in Throat for Hours

Mumbai(The Uttam Hindu): Veteran actress Zeenat Aman took to Instagram to share a personal and stressful incident she experienced the previous night. The Bollywood icon revealed that she had almost choked on her blood pressure medication after returning home from a long day of shooting.

In her post, Zeenat described the moment when she took the pill and then struggled to swallow it, with the medication getting stuck in her throat. Despite several attempts to drink water, the pill remained lodged, causing her to panic. Alone at home with only her pets for company, she called her friend Zahaan for help after her doctor’s number was busy. Eventually, the doctor reassured her that the pill would dissolve with time.

Zeenat reflected on the experience, drawing a metaphor from the situation. She explained that while the discomfort was intense and the urge to seek a quick solution was strong, ultimately, patience and restraint were the only things that helped her through the ordeal. “Sometimes a situation requires those softer acts of patience, restraint and equanimity,” she wrote.

She concluded her post with a reminder to her followers: while some challenges demand immediate action, others require a more patient approach. Zeenat also shared a photo from a test shoot as part of her post.
