New Delhi(The Uttam Hindu): A complaint was filed against Telugu actor Shri Tej alleging emotional, financial, and physical exploitation of a woman under the guise of marital commitment. The complaint zero FIR was submitted on Monday, November 25, 2024, at Kukatpally Police Station for violations under IPC sections 69, 115(2), and 318(2).

The victim says Shri Tej, known for acting in Allu Arjun's Pushpa: The Rise, had cheated her into a live-in relationship on false promises of marriage and had exploited her financially to the tune of Rs 20 lakh. She alleged that he manipulated her into that relationship and during that time, he was flirting with another woman, Archana, whom he had been in a relationship with since they had a seven-year-old son.

The victim even submitted a complaint this April, but withdrew it later after the actor's family assured her of appropriate action. Now, the situation has been further aggravated when Archana's husband is reported to have died of heatstroke due to being caused trouble by the affair. Shri Tej is accused of destroying her family relationships and using the affair for destroying one's social reputation. Despite having complained at the Madhapur Police Station earlier, she alleged that no action was taken on it. In light of these allegations, the police have started their investigation to bring justice to the victim. Further updates are expected.
