New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is a well-known name today but his journey in the film industry was full of struggles. In the early days of his career, he faced several rejections and even when he got roles some of his scenes were removed from films.

Nawaz shared one such experience on *The Kapil Sharma Show*. He recalled working as an assistant director in Kamal Haasan's film *Hey Ram* and also playing a small role. However, just before the film’s screening, he was informed that his scene had been cut. The news left him heartbroken, and he even cried.

During the show, Nawaz said that the film’s premiere was held in Mumbai, and he attended it with five to six friends. Excitedly, he told them, "Boss, Hey Ram is coming, and I have worked in it." But before the screening began, Kamal Haasan approached him and said, "Nawaz, tell your friends that your scene has been cut." Shocked and embarrassed, Nawaz responded, "Sir, I will be very insulted."

Overcome with emotion, Nawaz tearfully informed his friends about the removal of his scene and told them they could choose to stay or leave.

Kamal Haasan, who was also present on The Kapil Sharma Show, praised Nawaz’s talent. He mentioned that Nawaz was a brilliant actor even back then, but the scene had to be removed due to footage constraints.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui was last seen in Rautu Ka Raaz, alongside Rajesh Kumar, Narayani Shastri, and Atul Tiwari. His upcoming film is Thama, a horror-comedy from Maddock Films, where he will share the screen with Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna.
