Jasleen Royal to make history as first Indian artist to open for Coldplay's 'Music of the Spheres India tour'

Mumbai (The Uttam Hindu): Jasleen Royal is making history as the first Indian artist to open for Coldplay during their much-awaited "Music of the Spheres" tour in India. The concerts will take place at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on January 18, 19 and 21, 2025 followed by shows at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on January 25 and 26. Jasleen's involvement in this prestigious event has sparked immense excitement, especially after her successful 2023 hit song "Sahiba," which gained widespread popularity both in India and internationally.

As the opening act, Jasleen will perform alongside other supporting artists, including Elyanna, a Palestinian singer-songwriter and Shone, a French modern hip-hop artist. This concert series marks Coldplay's long-awaited return to India after their last performance in 2016 at the Global Citizen Festival. Due to the overwhelming demand for tickets, additional shows were added to accommodate the sell-out crowds.
