Ex-Union Minister’s Daughter Files Complaint Against Vikrant Massey's Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan Makers

Mumbai( The Uttam Hindu): Actress Aarushi Nishank, the daughter of former Union Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, has filed a complaint against the producers of Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan for allegedly duping her of Rs 4 crore. The matter has now entered legal proceedings, with allegations of financial fraud against producer couple Mansi Bagla and Varun Bagla. The actress claims that the producers approached her, offering her a role in the upcoming film and promising her a 20% share of the profits which were projected to exceed Rs 15 crore. In exchange, they persuaded her to invest Rs 5 crore into the project.
As per reports, the producers made further assurances, guaranteeing a full refund of the investment with 15% interest if Nishank was dissatisfied with the role offered. Following this, an MoU was signed on October 9, 2024. The very next day, Aarushi transferred Rs 2 crore to the producers.
By November 19, 2024, Nishank had allegedly made an additional payment of Rs 2 crore, bringing her total investment in the project to Rs 4 crore. The situation has now led to a legal battle, as Nishank accuses the producers of fraud and breach of trust.The film Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan , which stars Vikrant Massey and Shanaya Kapoor in the lead roles, has now become embroiled in this legal controversy, with ongoing investigations into the claims made by Nishank.
