Akshay Kumar to start next schedule of ‘Bhooth Bangla’ in Jaipur

Mumbai (The Uttam Hindu): Bollywood star Akshay Kumar is gearing up to shoot for the next schedule of his upcoming film Bhooth Bangla, set to begin this Sunday in Jaipur.Teaming up once again with director Priyadarshan Kumar aims to deliver another hit after their successful collaborations in films like Hera Pheri, Bhool Bhulaiyaa , and Garam Masala. After completing the first filming phase in Mumbai last month, the crew will now move to the Pink City to continue the horror-comedy's journey. Bhooth Bangla* is expected to blend thrills with humor, as it explores the haunted house genre with a comedic twist. Known for his impeccable comic timing, Kumar is likely to infuse his signature charm into the film’s narrative. The Jaipur schedule will feature several outdoor shoots at the city’s iconic locations, which will provide a rich cultural backdrop to the storyline.

Directed by Priyadarshan, Bhooth Bangla is produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa R. Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms along with Akshay Kumar’s Cape of Good Films. The film is set to release on April 2, 2026. Earlier, Akshay took a break from his busy filming schedule to spend the New Year with his family in Jaipur. Along with his wife Twinkle Khanna and children Aarav and Nitara, he enjoyed a fun family outing at the Jhalana Leopard Safari. A video of their nature ride surfaced on social media, capturing Akshay’s joyful moments. The actor also celebrated Twinkle’s 51st birthday on December 29 with a heartfelt post, highlighting her unique personality traits.
