New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): On the occasion of Bhai Dooj, Namo Bharat train services will commence two hours earlier than usual on Sunday, November 3, 2024. The NCRTC has implemented this schedule change to facilitate easier travel for passengers during the festive period. The Namo Bharat trains operating on the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor will start at 6:00 AM instead of the regular 8:00 AM, and services will run until 10:00 PM. Typically, the Namo Bharat train operates from 6 AM from Monday to Saturday, with a later start on Sundays.

The NCRTC management has indicated that if there is an increase in passenger numbers, the frequency of the trains may be adjusted accordingly. This proactive approach aims to ensure a smooth and comfortable travel experience for all commuters, particularly during busy travel times associated with the festival. By making these adjustments, the NCRTC hopes to accommodate the needs of passengers more effectively.

For the convenience of women travelers, each Namo Bharat train features a designated ladies coach. This coach is positioned as the second one when heading towards Meerut and as the second-to-last coach when traveling toward Delhi. Additionally, there are reserved seats for women in other coaches to enhance accessibility and comfort. These measures reflect the NCRTC's commitment to providing a safe and convenient travel environment for all passengers.
