New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): BJP MP Manoj Tiwari stated that every promise made by Prime Minister Modi will be fulfilled, including the implementation of the Mahila Samman Yojana. He announced that the registration process for women will begin on March 8, to provide a monthly honorarium of Rs 2500. Tiwari emphasized that the BJP government is committed to fulfilling the promise made during the elections, which includes this financial support for women.

The Mahila Samman Yojana is expected to be launched on Women's Day, potentially through an event at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. However, the scheme will not benefit women who are employed in government jobs or those who file income tax returns. Additionally, women already receiving pension benefits will be excluded from this scheme. The monthly amount will be allocated to economically disadvantaged women.

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta also expressed support for the scheme, affirming that the BJP is determined to provide the honorarium to women as promised.
