The cold has intensified across Delhi-NCR due to the rainfall. This has also led to several issues for the residents. At New Delhi Railway Station, the situation worsened because of the rain, affecting many passengers. However, there is some relief from the fog today, after the heavy fog on Wednesday caused major disruptions for people trying to get to their workplaces. The weather department predicted that most areas would experience smog and moderate fog on Thursday morning, with dense fog expected in some places. Similar conditions are expected in the evening and night, with cloudy weather during the day. Light rainfall is also anticipated in the morning. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be around 17°C and 10°C, respectively.
Due to the dense fog, train and flight schedules were also affected. Several trains bound for Delhi were delayed, causing inconvenience for passengers. Regarding pollution, the air quality in Delhi-NCR has worsened again, leading to the imposition of GRAP-3 and GRAP-4 restrictions on Wednesday evening. According to Indian Railways, 29 trains traveling to Delhi from various parts of the country are running late due to fog, causing further difficulties for passengers.
