Woman Sleeps with Dead Cat, Takes Shocking Step After Its Death

Amroha (The Uttam Hindu)- A shocking incident has come to light in Amroha district of Uttar Pradesh. Where everyone is surprised to see the love of a woman for a cat.

After the sudden death of the cat, the woman kept sleeping with the dead cat for three days. Finally, when the cat did not come alive, she also committed suicide by hanging herself in grief of the cat. Everyone is surprised to see the love between the cat and the woman. Late Gulab Das's 35-year-old daughter Pooja committed suicide by hanging herself from the fan with the help of a dupatta on the third floor of the house near Mohalla Rahra Road Shiva Temple in Hasanpur Nagar of Amroha district late Saturday evening. The suicide was reported to 112 Dial Police by the family. On receiving the information, Inspector in-charge Ravindra Pratap Singh reached the spot with a heavy police force. The police reached the spot and took the dead body of the girl in their custody and sent it for post-mortem.

The family members told that the deceased was the eldest among two brothers and two sisters. The deceased Pooja had kept a cat for a long time and she used to eat, drink and sleep with the cat. Her pet cat had died three days ago. Pooja kept sleeping with the cat near her for three days in the hope that the cat would be alive. Finally, when the cat did not breathe even after three days, it gave up its life. The family members including mother Gajra are crying badly due to the death of the girl. Mother Gajra said that the daughter died due to her love for the cat. Our daughter lived with the cat. She was shocked after the death of the cat, after which she took this step. Just like a mother raises her child, she raised the cat in the same way. On the other hand, Kotwal Ravindra Pratap Singh said that the police reached the spot on receiving the information. The body of the deceased has been taken into custody and sent for postmortem.
