New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu) : The Waqf Amendment Bill, which has created a heated atmosphere in the whole country, can be introduced in the Parliament on 2 April. The government will first introduce it in the Lok Sabha. The session will continue till 4 April. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said- We are preparing to introduce the Waqf Amendment Bill in the Parliament. There have been a lot of discussions on the bill outside the Parliament. We must also participate in the debate and discussion in the House. Rijiju said- The JPC formed on the bill has made a record of the longest consultation process in the history of democratic India. All political parties are requested not to mislead the people.

Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs and Minority Affairs Kiren Rijiju has slammed those opposing the Waqf Bill and said that the people opposing this bill are the ones who have occupied Waqf properties worth crores. Rijiju said that the people opposing it are powerful and they are misleading innocent people. Rijiju further said, "I welcome the request made by the Kerala Catholic Bishops Council (KCBC) to all the MPs of Kerala to support the Waqf Amendment Bill as a minister and a member of the minority community."
