Washington (The Uttam Hindu): US President Donald Trump shared a nearly three-hour-long podcast of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his social media platform Truth Social on Monday morning (Indian time). His podcast with American podcaster Lex Fridman has become a topic of discussion. During the conversation, PM Modi spoke about his cordial relations with Trump. He praised Trump's 'humility'. He said that Trump appeared much more prepared for his second term than his first term. PM Modi praised Trump's determination and his unwavering dedication to America even after the recent assassination attempt. He said, "Even after being shot, he remained steadfast to America. His life was for his country. This shows his America First spirit, just as I believe in Nation First - India First." Recalling the 'Howdy Modi' event in 2019, the Prime Minister said that Trump chose to sit among the audience and called it a testament to his humility. Referring to his visit to the White House, he told how Trump broke protocol and personally took him on a tour of the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

When asked about Trump's earlier comment that PM Modi is a better negotiator, the Prime Minister attributed it to the US President's decency and humility. "He has a clear roadmap in mind, consisting of well-defined steps, each of which is designed to lead towards the goals," PM Modi said. He said his own approach to negotiations is always driven by India's interests. Taking the discussion forward, PM Modi also recalled his old relationship with Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, which dates back to his tenure as Gujarat Chief Minister. He described their recent meeting as warm and familial, mentioning Musk's enthusiasm for DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency).
