Uproar in Parliament Over Muslim Reservation in Karnataka; Nadda Accuses Congress of Violating Constitution

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): The budget session of the Parliament will continue from today. After a two-day break, there was a huge uproar in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha today on the Muslim reservation in Karnataka. As soon as the proceedings of both the houses of Parliament began, the members of the Treasury Bench attacked the opposition on the Muslim reservation in Karnataka. Due to the uproar, the proceedings of the Lok Sabha were adjourned till 12 and the proceedings of the Rajya Sabha were adjourned till 2 o'clock.
Uproar in both houses over Muslim reservation in Karnataka, Nadda said- Congress has violated the constitution; proceedings adjourned: Leader of the House in Rajya Sabha JP Nadda said that the Congress party claims to be the protector of the constitution. Baba Saheb has clearly said that reservation cannot be given on the basis of religion. But the Congress government has made a provision of 4 per cent reservation in the constitution for Muslims in the South. JP Nadda authenticated it and said that the deputy CM of Karnataka has said in the house there that if the need arises, we will change the constitution, and these people pretend to be great protectors of the constitution. The constitution has been violated there. The leader of the opposition should answer for this.
Responding to this, opposition leader Mallikarjun Kharge said that Baba Saheb made the constitution of the country. No one can change it. To protect it, we have taken out Bharat Jodo Yatra from Kanyakumari to Kashmir. Who said that we are going to change the constitution? On this, Kiren Rijiju said that by implementing the policy of Muslim League which Baba Saheb had rejected, the Congress party has tarnished the respect of Baba Saheb. Kiren Rijiju also read out the statement given by Karnataka Deputy CM in the House and challenged the Congress President to take action.
