UGC NET 2024: Admit Cards for January 21 and 27 Exams Released – Here’s How to Download
New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the admit cards for the UGC NET exam to be held on January 21 and 27. Candidates appearing for the exam can download their admit card by visiting the official website ugcnet.nta.ac.in. To download the admit card, candidates will need their application number and date of birth.
What to do if there is a problem downloading the admit card?
If a candidate is facing any problem downloading the admit card or there is any error in the information given in the admit card, they can contact NTA at 011-40759000 or send an email to [email protected].
Why was the exam rescheduled?
The UGC NET exam was originally scheduled to be held on January 15, but due to Pongal, Makar Sankranti and other festivals, the NTA postponed the exam on this day. Later, the NTA announced that the postponed exam will now be held on January 21 and 27.
How to download admit card
Visit the official website of UGC NET ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
Click on the “Admit Card Download” link.
Enter your application number and date of birth.
Submit the details and download your admit card.
Required documents to be carried to the exam centre:
Printout of the Admit Card
One passport size photo (the same as uploaded on the online application form)
Valid Photo ID proof (Aadhaar Card/PAN Card/Driving License/Passport)
The name on the photo ID must match the name on the Admit Card
Disability Certificate issued by the competent authority, if exemption is being claimed under PWD category.
Purpose of UGC NET Exam
UGC NET exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to determine the eligibility of candidates for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), appointment of Assistant Professor and admission to PhD. All the candidates are advised to download their admit card as soon as possible and check the required documents to be carried to the exam centre.
