New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): After winning the presidential election, Donald Trump has appointed Indian-American former journalist Kush Desai as his Deputy Press Secretary, according to an announcement by the White House.
Kush Desai previously served as Deputy Communications Director for the Republican National Convention and Communications Director for the Iowa Republican Party. He also held the position of Deputy Battleground States and Pennsylvania Communications Director at the Republican National Committee, where he played a significant role in shaping the messaging and narrative in key battleground states, particularly Pennsylvania. Trump successfully secured all seven battleground states during the election. Additionally, Trump appointed Steven Cheung as his Secretary and White House Communications Director, while Caroline Levitt was named Secretary and Press Secretary. The White House Communications Office will be overseen by White House Deputy Chief of Staff and Cabinet Secretary Taylor Budovich.
