New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Elon Musk's space company SpaceX once again successfully launched the Falcon 9 rocket from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. SpaceX launched this on the night of the full moon.

In this mission, Falcon 9 installed a total of 21 Starlink satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Out of these, 13 satellites are equipped with "Direct to Cell" technology. This technology will make direct satellite connectivity possible with mobile phones without mobile towers, so that mobile signals can be obtained even in remote and network-less areas. The Direct-to-Cell facility will be launched in the US in partnership with T-Mobile. Its aim is to provide network even in seas, mountains and other remote areas. This launch was historic for SpaceX as it was the company's 400th flight so far. This is the 42nd Falcon 9 launch in the year 2025, out of which 28 have been done for Starlink missions. Now these satellites will go into their operational orbit and further strengthen Starlink's network of more than 7,000 satellites.
