Shraddha Walker’s Father Passes Away in Delhi, Couldn’t Fulfill Wish to Perform Her Last Rites

Mumbai (The Uttam Hindu): Shraddha Walker's father Vikas Walker has passed away in Mumbai. According to the information, he had a heart attack, after which he breathed his last in Vasai, Mumbai. It is being told that Vikas Walker was in deep shock after the brutal murder of his daughter Shraddha Walker. He was waiting for the remains of his daughter's body so that he could perform her last rites.

Shraddha Walker was murdered in 2022 by her live-in partner Aftab Poonawala. Aftab cut Shraddha's body into several pieces and kept them in the refrigerator and then disposed of them in the forests of Mehrauli in Delhi. Aftab Poonawala is currently in police custody, but all the pieces of Shraddha's body have not been recovered yet. Vikas Walker could not even get the remains of the body to perform the last rites of his daughter.

The Shraddha Walker murder case was revealed in November 2022 when Aftab was arrested while disposing of the body parts. During police interrogation, Aftab had told that he had killed Shraddha on 18 May 2022 itself and after that he kept throwing the body by cutting it into pieces. The police had found only a few pieces of Shraddha's body, which were confirmed by DNA test to be Shraddha's. Vikas Walker got the news of his daughter's death in November 2022 itself.
