Severed Head at Shahi Jama Masjid Sparks Panic, Heavy Police Deployment

Agra (The Uttam Hindu): The situation became tense on Friday morning in Agra's historic Shahi Jama Masjid premises when a severed animal's head was found thrown there. This incident has caused great anger among the Muslim community. When the people who had reached the mosque for Fajr prayers saw this, they immediately informed the police.
As soon as the information was received, a large police force led by DCP City Sonam Kumar reached the spot. In view of the tension in the area, a large number of policemen have been deployed.
The police have immediately started investigating the case. The footage of CCTV cameras installed in and around the mosque premises is being examined. In one of the CCTV cameras of the mosque, a young man is seen carrying the head of an animal. It is seen in the footage that the young man had covered his face with a handkerchief so that he could not be identified.
Based on this CCTV footage, the police is trying to identify the accused youth and arrest him as soon as possible. Police officials say that the person trying to spoil the atmosphere will not be spared. The police is continuously patrolling the area to maintain peace.
