Serial Killer Arrested After Murdering 18, Left Severed Heads Outside Jail

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Delhi Police has succeeded in arresting a serial killer. Serial killer Chandrakant Jha has murdered about 18 people. He was so dangerous that after killing people, he used to cut the dead bodies into pieces.

Chandrakant was a serial killer who used to kill people by beheading them, and used to keep the bodies in front of the gate of Tihar Jail and used to throw other body parts in different places. He used to write a letter with every dead body and keep it near the body and used to challenge the police. After the news of this serial killer came out, there was an atmosphere of fear among the people of Delhi. A documentary based on these murder stories of Chandrakant Jha was also released. The name of this series is Indian Predator: The Butcher of Delhi. This documentary was released on Netflix. Chandrakant Jha committed his first murder on 20 October 2006.

Chandrakant Jha was sentenced to life imprisonment by the court in 2013. In the year 2023, Chandrakant got 90 days parole. When Chandrakant did not return even after the parole ended, the police registered a case and started investigation. The police was searching for him for the last several months. Still no clue was found. Chandrakant had argued in the court that he is the only man in his family and he has three daughters. Being a father, he has the responsibility of marrying the eldest daughter. Along with this, Jha said that he wants to re-establish social relations with the family. The court ordered Chandrakant Jha to give a bond of Rs 25,000 and two bail bonds of the same amount. After which he was granted parole.
