Sacred Bond Turned Sinister: Man Films Obscene Video of Wife, Sends It to Friend

Thane (The Uttam Hindu): The relationship of husband and wife is considered a sacred bond, but a very shameful case has come to light from Thane, Maharashtra. Here a man is accused of making an obscene video of his own wife and sending it to his friend. A 40-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly exploiting, harassing and assaulting his wife in Thane district. Police arrested the accused from Ulhasnagar city on Sunday and reported the incident on Monday.

According to the police, the accused allegedly gave drugs to his wife and then took objectionable pictures of her. Not only this, he also sent those pictures to one of his friends on social media. The officer said that when the woman protested against this, the accused also beat her. According to the woman, after this incident, on January 17, her husband's friend called her and spoke obscenely to her. The woman said that the man also demanded sex from her over the phone.

Based on the woman's complaint, the police have registered a case against the accused under sections 77 (voyeurism), 78 (stalking), 115(2) (voluntarily causing hurt), 352 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace) and other relevant provisions of the Indian Penal Code. The incident has brought shame to the husband-wife relationship.
