Mumbai (The Uttam Hindu)– Social media influencer Ranveer Allahabadia’s troubles continue to escalate as the Maharashtra Cyber Police has issued fresh summons, asking him to appear for questioning on February 24. The summons are linked to the ongoing controversy surrounding the India’s Got Latent show, where Allahabadia made objectionable remarks about parents and sexual relationships. According to officials, he had previously been summoned but failed to appear. The authorities have now reiterated their demand for his presence as part of the investigation.

Alongside the cyber police probe, the National Commission for Women (NCW) has also intervened in the matter. The NCW has issued a new hearing date of March 6 for Allahabadia, along with fellow content creators Samay Raina, Apoorva Mukhija, and Ashish Chanchlani, after they failed to appear on February 17. While some individuals cited personal security concerns, others mentioned prior commitments, including foreign travel. The commission has granted them additional time but expects full compliance on the revised date.

As the controversy intensified, Allahabadia took to social media once again to issue an apology. He acknowledged that his comments were insensitive and expressed regret for the distress they caused. He also revealed that he and his family have been receiving death threats, adding to his concerns. Allahabadia reassured his followers that he is fully cooperating with authorities and will adhere to legal proceedings. Despite his public apologies, the backlash remains strong, and the legal scrutiny surrounding the case continues.
