Tarn Taran (The Uttam Hindu): Punjab Police have arrested five associates linked to infamous gangsters Jaggu Bhagwanpuria and Amritpal Singh, also known as Amrit Bath. During the operation, authorities recovered four illegal weapons, including a 9 mm American-made pistol. The accused have been taken into custody for interrogation.


Initial investigations revealed that the suspects were planning a targeted killing, but the police intercepted and arrested them before they could execute their plan. Significant information has also surfaced regarding a shooter involved in a recent target killing carried out by the gang in the Tarn Taran area. Police are now working to uncover more details about Jaggu Bhagwanpuria's associates still active in the region.

Jaggu Bhagwanpuria, whose real name is Jaspreet Singh, hails from Bhagwanpur village in Gurdaspur. Known for his skill as a kabaddi player in his early years, Jaspreet eventually gravitated toward a life of crime. Upon entering the criminal underworld, he adopted the alias "Jaggu Bhagwanpuria" and gained notoriety as a gangster. Investigations into his network and criminal activities are ongoing.
