PM Kisan Yojana: PM Modi to Release 19th Installment of Kisan Samman Nidhi Today

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Bhagalpur today, where he will release the 19th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, reaffirming the government's commitment to farmers' welfare, prosperity, and happiness. During the visit, PM Modi will also address a public rally at the airport ground, a key event ahead of the 2025 Bihar elections. State Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will accompany him.

The 19th installment under the PM Kisan Yojana will be released at approximately 2:15 PM in Bhagalpur, with an estimated 5 lakh farmers expected to attend the event. The program will include the disbursement of Kisan Samman Nidhi funds and a public gathering, along with the inauguration of various development projects by PM Modi.

What is PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana?

The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is a government initiative providing financial assistance to farmers across India. Under this scheme, eligible farmers receive ₹6,000 annually, distributed in three equal installments of ₹2,000 every four months, directly credited to their bank accounts.
