Pick Them Up : BJP Leader's Call to Police After Fatal Shootings

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): In a shocking act of violence, BJP leader Yogesh Rohila of Saharanpur murdered his three children and critically injured his wife, claiming suspicion of her infidelity. On Saturday, he shot his wife and then fatally shot his children, before confessing to the police by phone, stating, "Captain Sahib... I have killed my wife and children, come and pick them up." Police responding to his call found a horrific scene and rushed his wife to the hospital, while taking Rohila into custody.

He reportedly showed no remorse, admitting to planning the murders for days. The tragedy is amplified by the fact that just days prior, on June 11th, Rohila celebrated his son's birthday, posting celebratory photos and expressing wishes for his son's long life, a stark contrast to his subsequent actions. The family gathering, attended by grandparents, uncles, and aunts, now stands as a grim reminder of the lives he abruptly ended.
