Washington (The Uttam Hindu): Donald Trump is set to be inaugurated today as the 47th President of the United States. Preparations for the event are in full swing with numerous foreign dignitaries invited to attend the ceremony. Even before taking the oath, Trump has begun making significant announcements.
"I will not let the Third World War happen," declared Trump as he made a bold statement on the Russia-Ukraine conflict ahead of his return to office. Addressing a victory rally at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., the day before his inauguration, Trump vowed to prevent a global war. The rally themed "Make America Great Again" (MAGA) was marked by Trump's promise to reverse many of Joe Biden’s decisions within hours of taking office.

Addressing the issue of immigration, Trump pledged to take decisive action against illegal migration. "We will send all illegal encroachers back to their countries by any means necessary," he said. Trump promised to reclaim control of U.S. borders and launch the largest deportation campaign in American history, aiming to remove thousands of illegal migrants.
On domestic policies, Trump emphasized his administration’s commitment to securing borders, reforming prison systems and addressing contentious social issues like men competing in women's sports. He highlighted plans to classify drug cartels as foreign terrorist organizations and declared that an emergency would soon be imposed along the U.S.-Mexico border to tackle these challenges effectively.
