Massive Fire Caught In The Junk: Authorities On High Alert!

Ghaziabad(The Uttam Hindu): A massive fire broke out in the Siddharth Vihar area of Ghaziabad, engulfing large piles of junk. The fire, which started due to the ignition of plastic and other materials, spread rapidly due to strong winds in the area. Sources confirmed that junk dealers had illegally separated plastic waste and other junk on a piece of land owned by Awas Vikas, which led to the fire. The waste had accumulated in large quantities, creating a dangerous fire hazard. Firefighters rushed to the scene with six fire engines deployed to control the blaze. Firefighters worked tirelessly to douse the fire as the thick smoke and flames posed a risk to nearby properties.
Local authorities are investigating the incident and action is expected to be taken against the illegal junk dealers who have been responsible for the waste separation in such a hazardous manner. The fire raised concerns over environmental safety and the unauthorized dumping of waste in residential areas, which continues to be a significant challenge in Ghaziabad and surrounding regions. Efforts are ongoing to completely extinguish the fire and the situation remains under control as fire crews work on the ground.
