Masquerade of Death: Gunmen Dressed as Shepherds Slaughter 40 in Cold Blood

Abuja (The Uttam Hindu): Incidents of violence in Nigeria are not stopping. The situation has deteriorated so much that the President himself had to come forward and give a statement. President Bola Tinubu said that Muslim gunmen have attacked a Christian farming community in the north-central part of the country. At least 40 people have been killed in these attacks. It is believed that gunmen disguised as shepherds have carried out this incident.

Nigeria's President Bola Tinubu has expressed grief over this massacre. Expressing condolences to the families of the deceased, he said that he has ordered an investigation into this attack on the Jike community. The President said in a statement, "I have instructed the security agencies to investigate this matter thoroughly and identify those responsible for this violent act."

According to human rights organization 'Amnesty International', the gunmen carried out the attack suddenly. The attack was carried out so quickly that people did not get a chance to escape. Children and the elderly are also among the dead.

Let us tell you that such attacks have become common in this part of Africa's most populous country. The gunmen involved in the attacks usually belong to a Muslim tribe called Fulani. The gunmen take advantage of the loopholes in the security system and launch deadly attacks on the farmers.
