New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Four people died and five were seriously injured when a Scorpio vehicle crashed on NH 31 near Khatopur Chowk under Nagar police station area of ​​Begusarai district in Bihar on Sunday morning. All of them were victims of the accident while returning from a wedding procession. According to the information, the wedding procession had gone to Sahebpur Kamal area to attend the wedding of Abhishek Kumar from Paharpur village of Begusarai. After the wedding, at around four o'clock on Sunday morning, the Scorpio vehicle suddenly got a puncture while returning from NH 31. Due to the punctured tire, the vehicle went out of control and hit the divider and overturned.

Four people died on the spot in the incident, including Manoj Kumar Sinha's 19-year-old son Ankit Kumar and his brother Abhishek Kumar, Rudal Paswan's 19-year-old son Saurabh Kumar and Jagdish Pandit's 18-year-old son Krishna Kumar. With the help of local people and police, five injured people have been admitted to Begusarai Sadar Hospital. Police have reached the spot and are investigating the incident.

Sadar DSP Subodh Kumar confirmed the incident and said that people were returning from the wedding procession in a Scorpio. The Scorpio was moving at a high speed, so it went out of control, broke the divider and overturned on NH 31. Due to this, the vehicle was completely damaged from front and back. In this incident, four people died tragically on the spot, while five people were seriously injured. With the help of local people, the police admitted all the injured to Sadar Hospital Begusarai.

The police have started investigating the case. They are trying to find out the exact cause of the accident. According to eyewitnesses, the tyre of the speeding vehicle got punctured, which is why it could not be controlled and the accident happened.
