Man Marries Twice in One Day—Court Wedding with Girlfriend, Traditional Marriage with Family’s Choice
Gorakhpur (The Uttam Hindu): A shocking incident has come to light in Gorakhpur, where a young man got married twice in a single day. The young man first got married to his girlfriend in court and then the same night married another girl with the consent of his family. Later the young man left his girlfriend, after which the girlfriend accused him of cheating. On receiving the complaint in the case, SP North has directed the local police to investigate and submit the report within two days.
According to the information, a girl from Harpur Budhat area had a love affair with a young man from the same village. After this relationship lasted for about four years, both of them got married in a temple and started living together. However, the young man's family was not aware of this relationship. Meanwhile, the young man's family arranged his marriage somewhere else. When the young man came to know about this, he told his girlfriend that he was under pressure from his family.
When the girlfriend came to know about the date of the young man's second marriage, the young man deceived her by saying that they will do a court marriage before marriage, so that pressure can be put on the family members to accept their relationship. On the day the family members had fixed the young man's marriage, the young man did a court marriage with his girlfriend in the morning. After this, the young man left his girlfriend's house saying that he was going to convince his family members, but in the evening he reached to marry another girl.
When the young man did not contact his girlfriend for about 15 days, she went to his house to find out, where she came to know about the young man's second marriage. After this, the girl accused the young man and his family of cheating on her.
In her complaint to the police, the girl said that they were in a live-in relationship and during this time she had two abortions. She also alleged that she had given birth to a child in a nursing home located in Taramandal, which the boy gave to the nurse. When asked, the boy said that they live alone and will bring the child back when he grows up a little. The girl says that she does not know where her child is.
Acting on the girlfriend's complaint, SP North has ordered the local police to investigate the matter and submit a report within two days. The police is now investigating the matter.
