Luxury Worth ₹30 Crores Exposed: Raid on Noida Officer's Home Unveils ₹16 Crore House, ₹15 Crore School, and ₹60 Lakh Jewellery

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): On December 14, the Uttar Pradesh Vigilance Department conducted an extensive 18-hour raid on the residences of Ravindra Singh Yadav, the suspended Special Officer of the Noida Development Authority. The raids targeted his properties in Noida and Etawah, uncovering significant assets, including jewelry worth 60 lakhs and cash totaling 2.5 lakhs, at his three-storey house in Noida's Sector-47. His Noida property, estimated to be worth Rs 16 crore, also contained household items and electronics valued at Rs 37 lakh.
This action follows an investigation into Ravindra Yadav's alleged disproportionate assets. After receiving a report from the investigation, the Uttar Pradesh Vigilance Department filed an FIR against Yadav under the Prevention of Corruption Act. The investigation revealed that the wealth accumulated by Yadav and his family members appeared to be disproportionate to his known sources of income.
In addition to the physical assets, the vigilance team also recovered several passports from his residence, leading them to investigate the foreign trips made by Yadav’s family. The team is gathering information about two vehicles—an Innova and a Kwid—that Yadav owns, as well as documents related to six accounts and investments in various banks.
The raid also uncovered documents relating to multiple land transactions. Yadav had reportedly purchased nearly a dozen plots of land, which are currently under investigation. Furthermore, documents related to the Aristotle World School in Etawah, where Yadav’s son, Nikhil Yadav, serves as president of the school society, were also found. The school’s property, which is valued at around Rs 15 crore, includes equipment and furniture worth Rs 2 crore and operates 10 buses.
Additionally, Yadav faces accusations dating back to 2007 when he, as the Special Executive Officer at the Noida Authority, allegedly transferred a 9712-square-meter government plot allotted to ICSR to a private housing society, ICPO ICMR-CGHS, in violation of rules. This matter was previously investigated by the CBI. The ongoing investigation by the Vigilance Department aims to uncover the full extent of Yadav’s assets and their origins, as well as further violations linked to his tenure at the Noida Development Authority.
