Lok Sabha Laugh-Out: Amit Shah's Witty Retort to Akhilesh Yadav's Jibe, Watch Video

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): During the discussion on the Waqf Amendment Bill in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah responded to Samajwadi Party (SP) President Akhilesh Yadav's jibe at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Akhilesh Yadav had taken a dig at the BJP, saying that the party, which claims to be the largest in the world, has not been able to elect its national president yet.
Amit Shah replied to Akhilesh Yadav's comment in a lighthearted manner, saying that while Akhilesh Yadav made his point laughingly, he would also respond in the same vein. Shah then pointed out that in other parties, including the SP, only a few family members are considered for the national president position. In contrast, the BJP has to choose its president from 12-13 crore members through a democratic process, which takes time. Shah also took a jibe at Akhilesh Yadav, saying that while the BJP's presidential election may take time, Akhilesh Yadav will remain the SP president for 25 years, guaranteed.
