New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has suffered a major setback in the results of Delhi elections. In such a situation, a video of Arvind Kejriwal is becoming fiercely viral on social media, in which he is claiming that 'BJP cannot defeat us in this lifetime.' Arvind Kejriwal's claim of 2023 has surfaced again in the video and it has gone viral after the party's crushing defeat in the Delhi Assembly elections. In fact, Arvind Kejriwal has suffered a crushing defeat at the hands of BJP's Pravesh Verma on the New Delhi Assembly seat.

In such a situation, the video of Arvind Kejriwal which is going viral, while referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP, Kejriwal can be heard saying, "You cannot defeat us in this life, you will need another birth to defeat us in Delhi." In fact, in Delhi, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is leading in 48 out of 70 seats, while the AAP is leading in only 22 seats.

The Delhi election results have demolished Kejriwal's earlier tall claims, proving that the BJP has once again established its dominance in the national capital. In a post on X, after the AAP's crushing defeat in Delhi, Swati Maliwal, Rajya Sabha MP of the same party who was once close to Kejriwal, commented that, "Ahamkara Ravan ka bhi nahi bacha tha, (Even Ravan, with all his arrogance, could not save himself). After this crushing defeat, Kejriwal's arrogance is being mocked in this way on social media.

In the high-profile New Delhi constituency, Kejriwal has lost his seat by a huge margin to BJP's Parvesh Verma, which is a personal and political setback for Kejriwal. His trusted aides have also faced defeat in different seats. Manish Sisodia, once considered Kejriwal's political heir, has lost the election from Jangpura. BJP's vote share has increased to 47.01 percent in this election and AAP's has decreased to 43.16 percent. The result of this election has exposed the weaknesses of AAP.
