Kathua Encounter Enters Day 2: Security Forces Corner 4-5 Terrorists

Jammu (The Uttam Hindu): Search operation of security forces is still going on in Hiranagar sector near LoC in Kathua, Jammu this morning. Earlier, there was an encounter between terrorists and security forces at 6:30 pm on Sunday evening. This encounter which lasted for about three hours was stopped due to low visibility. According to the information, the operation has been started again in the morning.

Encounter between army and terrorists continues for the second day in Kathua, security forces surround 4-5 terrorists: A large number of security forces have been deployed in the area. The army is searching the area with drones. Along with this, the districts of Punjab adjoining the area have also been put on high alert. Officials said that there was news of 4-5 terrorists hiding in Sanyal village, about 5 km from the LoC. After this, a search operation was launched in the area. Then the terrorists started firing.

According to the information, the terrorists had captured the girl and her parents. When the woman got the chance, she started running away with the girl. The terrorists threatened to shoot her, but both of them kept running. After this, the woman's husband also escaped from the clutches of the terrorists. During this, the girl suffered minor injuries.
