"Joking" Escapes, Police Seek Help from Baba Bageshwar Darbar; Video Goes Viral

Katni (The Uttam Hindu): A new video featuring Baba Bageshwar Dham’s Peethadheeshwar, Dhirendra Krishna Shastri is gaining significant attention on social media. In the video, a female constable in uniform is seen standing before Baba Bageshwar with folded hands seeking help to locate a female prisoner named ‘Dillagi,’ who escaped from custody. The incident reportedly took place during the court session at Bageshwar Dham on January 8 in Katni district, Madhya Pradesh.

Bageshwar Dham has become a popular destination for devotees seeking solutions to their problems with Baba Bageshwar claiming to address many of their concerns. His growing reputation has drawn people from across the country to the dham to present their pleas and prayers.

During the court session in Katni, a unique scene unfolded when the female constable approached Baba Bageshwar and said, “Maharaj, ‘Dillagi’ has run away.” Baba responded with laughter. A fellow female officer then elaborated explaining that the accused, ‘Dillagi Pardhi,’ involved in a ganja smuggling case, had escaped from police custody while at a district hospital. The accused had been taken from jail to the hospital for her child’s treatment and managed to escape. The police captain has since announced a reward of ₹10,000 for her capture.

The video of the incident has gone viral on social media sparking discussions about Baba Bageshwar Dham and the unusual appeals made during his court sessions. However, the authenticity of the viral video has not been independently verified.
