Jalandhar: 2 More Arrested in YouTuber's Grenade Attack; 7 Accused, Including Policeman's Son

Jalandhar (The Uttam Hindu): Police have arrested two more individuals in connection with the grenade attack on YouTuber Navdeep Singh Sandhu also known as Roger Sandhu at his house in Jalandhar. Among the arrested is a 21-year-old son of a police employee. The arrests were made by the CIA staff of Jalandhar Rural Police and both suspects are currently under interrogation.
Earlier, five other individuals including a woman had been arrested following an encounter with the police. These arrests included two main suspects and three individuals who had provided logistical support. The woman arrested in the case had hidden the grenade that was thrown at Roger Sandhu's house. The police had conducted two encounters with the accused in the course of the investigation. The first encounter occurred at the site of the crime and the second took place near village Churwali in Adampur. In both encounters, the criminals sustained injuries.
Hardik Kanjob a resident of Yamunanagar, Haryana, is believed to be the main accused behind the grenade attack. He was arrested near his residence. Following his arrest, the police also apprehended Amitpreet Singh from Kapurthala, along with two other accomplices, Dheeraj and Pandey. Additionally, Lakshmi a woman from Khambra was arrested for her involvement in the attack.
With the latest arrests seven individuals have now been detained in connection with the grenade attack. Police continue to investigate the case to uncover further details about the motive and the attackers' connections.
