Jalalabad MLA’s Sister Killed in Muktsar Car Crash; 3 Injured While Heading to Meet Ailing Father

Muktsar (The Uttam Hindu): In Punjab's Muktsar, a tragic road accident claimed the life of Mamta Rani, sister of Jalalabad MLA Jagdeep Kamboj Goldy, while three others sustained serious injuries. The accident occurred near Doda village when their car collided with a parked truck.

Mamta Rani and her companions were traveling from Mohalvi Wala village in Jalalabad to Bathinda. Near Doda village, the car crashed into a truck parked by the roadside, resulting in a severe collision that left the vehicle completely wrecked. Mamta Rani, wife of Mohalvi Wala’s Sarpanch Amrik Singh, died on the spot.

Among the injured are two women, all of whom were rushed to Muktsar Civil Hospital for treatment. Mamta Rani was on her way to Bathinda hospital to visit her ailing father, who is undergoing treatment there. She was also the sister of Sudhir Kamboj, Sarpanch of Dhani Mohri Ram. Upon hearing the news, MLA Jagdeep Kamboj Goldy, who was campaigning in Delhi, immediately halted his program and rushed to the scene.
