New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): The concern of America and Western countries about Iran's nuclear program has intensified again. IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) Director General Rafael Grossi has given a big statement saying that Iran is now on the threshold of making nuclear weapons. He said, "Iran has all the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle, which can be assembled at any time to make a nuclear bomb."

Grossi is currently on a visit to Iran and warned that Tehran has accelerated its nuclear program since the 2015 nuclear deal failed. He also said that any new nuclear deal without the involvement of the IAEA would be just a “piece of paper”.

Meanwhile, the US has again warned that Iran's nuclear program could pose a threat to regional and global stability. If Iran develops a nuclear bomb, it could start an arms race in the Middle East. Saudi Arabia has also made it clear several times that if Iran develops nuclear weapons, it will also take retaliatory action. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has already indicated that he is ready to take a decision soon.
