India's Disastrous Defeat in Adelaide: Australia Dominates with a 10-Wicket Win
Adelaide (The Uttam Hindu): Thanks to the claws of Pat Cummins and the century of Travis Head (140 runs), Australia on Sunday bowled out India for 175 in the second innings on the third day of the second test match and after achieving the target of 19 runs in 3.2 overs without losing any wicket, won by 10 wickets. With this, Australia has equalized the series 1-1. Travis Head was awarded the 'Player of the Match' for his brilliant century.
Earlier today, India started playing from yesterday's score of 128 runs for five wickets. In the morning session, Mitchell Starc gave India the sixth blow by dismissing Rishabh Pant (28) at the score of 128. Pat Cummins got Ravichandran Ashwin (seven) caught by wicketkeeper Carey. Harshit Rana (zero) and Mohammad Siraj (seven) were dismissed. Nitish Kumar Reddy scored the highest (42) runs in the second innings like the first innings. He was dismissed by Pat Cummins. No Indian batsman could last long against the Australian bowling attack. India's second innings was reduced to 175 runs in 36.5 overs. Pat Cummins took five wickets for Australia.
