IAS Officer Ravi Bhagat Takes Charge as Principal Secretary to CM, Punjab

Chandigarh (The Uttam Hindu): In a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, the Punjab Government has designated IAS officer Ravi Bhagat as the new Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Punjab. Bhagat, a 2006-batch IAS officer, was previously serving as Special Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister. As Principal Secretary, Bhagat will continue to hold additional charges, including Administrative Secretary of the Public Works Department (Buildings & Roads) and Secretary of the Punjab Rural Development Board. This appointment comes after the post was left vacant following the superannuation of IAS officer VK Singh.
