Huge security breach as Arvind Kejriwal is attacked in Greater Kailash, Watch VIDEO
New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Former Chief Minister of Delhi, National Convener of AAP, Arvind Kejriwal, was physically attacked in Greater Kailash. Some attacker threw something like a chemical on him, and fortunately, the people stopped the attacker immediately. The assailant has already been apprehended by police for investigation.
It is worth mentioning that Kejriwal has been regularly undertaking daily padyatras in the wake of Delhi Legislative Assembly elections. On the day of the attack, he was undertaking a padyatra in Greater Kailash. After the attack, AAP blamed the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the attack, stating that the BJP is frustrated due to its failure to maintain law and order in Delhi. The party argued that the attack was a direct result of Kejriwal's criticism against the BJP over law and order issues, which points to the failure of Home Minister Amit Shah.
Regarding the attack on AAP Convener Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj said, "While BJP leaders conduct rallies in all states without facing any attacks, Kejriwal continues to face repeated attacks.".
