Horrifying Incident: Man Takes Own Life After Killing Three Children, Panic Grips Area

Giridih (The Uttam Hindu): In Pirtand police station area under Giridih district of Jharkhand, a man committed suicide after killing his two minor daughters and one son. When the news of this heart-wrenching incident spread in the area on Sunday morning, people were stunned. After receiving the information, the police reached the spot. The bodies of all four have been taken to Giridih Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. This incident occurred in Maheshlitti village. The deceased include 36-year-old Sanaul Ansari, Sanaul's two daughters Afreen Parveen (12 years) and Zaiba Naaz (8 years) and son Safaul Ansari (6 years). Sanaul Ansari's wife had gone to her maternal home in Jamdhaha village of Giridih district two days ago.

It is estimated that the incident happened around 2-3 o'clock in the night. People came to know about it on Sunday morning when the neighbours knocked on the door of Sanaul's house after there was no movement even after Ramzan's Sehri. When there was no sound, people somehow entered inside and found Sanaul Ansari hanging, while his three children were lying dead there.

The police of Khukhara police station of Pirtand block were immediately informed about this. Dumri SDPO Sumit Prasad also reached the spot. The SDPO said that in the initial investigation it has come to light that Sanaul strangled his three children to death and then hanged himself. Sanaul used to work as a mason. Apart from this, he also ran a small ration and clothes shop in his house. The reason behind the incident is not known. Sanaul's wife has reached the village after getting information about the incident. Police say that after questioning her, the reason behind the incident can be known. Police is investigating all the aspects related to the incident.
